 Taj's Big 3 early tips:as at September 1st
 
Caulfield Cup - Herculian Prince is $31 and Brightnight $61 which is probably about right as they need to be in the field yet!
Cox Plate - Metal Bender $15 is ok and Shoot Out $6 looks thin but great horse on the up. Pace can suit Shocking if runs
Melb Cup - Shocking $15 looks thin but clear top pick and Brightnight  $41 is progressing well.
 
Please note that although these are our early interests we are never keen on long range all in type betting. You only have to add up the % and see you are trying to beat the bookies with a 250% board to realize what a mug you are to pre bet on anything at this stage! You will be able to frame your own 90-100% market race day which means you are 100% more likely to make a profit race day than from the early markets. Be warned!

As we approach Australia's premier horse racing carnival season, we thought that it was timely to provide punters with their very own horse racing tipster form guide. So here you have it punters, a list of the top tipsters whose form suggests they are worth following through the 2010 Spring Carnival.

Spring Carnival 2009 Performers

The first list highlights tipsters who performed well during last year's Spring Carnival. These tipsters' proven ability to profit when the best thoroughbreds in the nation were going around last year, is potentially a strong indicator of success for 2010.

 


 This weekend will see heavy rain roll in from the North West later Friday and Saturday which may move the Flemington track into the heavy territory. There may also be strong winds so be a bit wary of betting there on Saturday. Horses will need cover and may track wide later in the day. We are looking at races 3,5 7 and 9.

 Let's hope we keep up the winning form through 2010
